GO has been blessed to help thousands of people become homeowners and realize the American Dream. Our team wanted to pay that blessing forward—to help people for whom a safe place to sleep was still a dream.
That shared commitment brought us to Star of Hope Mission in Houston.

Using our talents
to help others.
The GO team collectively chose to support Star of Hope by putting our creative talents to work for Houston’s homeless men, women and children. Through Goswick Advertising, we helped bring attention to the people behind the need—and encouraged our community to open its heart.
Homeownership had been central to so much of our work. This campaign reminded us how much a home means: safety, dignity, belonging and the chance to begin again.

“Dear God,

A child’s question became the heart of the campaign. Simple words and black-and-white portraits invited people to see homelessness through the eyes of children and families—and to help Star of Hope respond.

The campaign also included television public service announcements (PSAs), extending the appeal beyond print and encouraging viewers to support Star of Hope’s work.
Across the campaign, the purpose was the same: bring attention to neighbors experiencing homelessness and invite people to help.

Star of Hope presented Goswick Advertising with this sculpture of a mother and her children, inscribed “Presented with Gratitude.”
It remains a meaningful reminder of the people at the heart of the work—and of our responsibility to use the opportunities we have been given to help others.
